Summer Research Scholarships for Third Year Students

These are available to students contemplating studying for an Honours degree in the Department of Zoology at the University of Melbourne. Third year students at a University in Australia or New Zealand are eligible to apply for a Summer Research Scholarship.

Summer Research Scholarships offer:

• A scholarship of 00 (8 weeks; pro-rata for shorter periods)
• Approved return travel from interstate or New Zealand
• A fully supported research project.

Project Duration: Up to 8 weeks by arrangement with research supervisor between 17 November 2006 and 1 March 2007

Closing Date: Application can be made at any time but allocation of scholarships will start on November 6^th 2006.

Visit Scholarships for Honours students

These are available to Honours students contemplating studying for a higher degree in the Department of Zoology at the University of Melbourne. Honours students at a University in Australia or New Zealand are eligible to apply for a Visit Scholarship.

A Visit Scholarship offers:

• Approved return travel from interstate or New Zealand
• Approved accommodation in Melbourne

Duration of visits: By arrangement, usually 2- 3 days.

No Closing Date: By arrangement with research group.
